A recent post by Leeds List has recorded the best places to live across the Leeds area, this was devised by local knowledge, estate agent input and the most popular areas of Leeds.
The most popular areas of Leeds include Horsforth, Chapel Allerton, Roundhay, Leeds Dock, Headingley and Alwoodly. The classed the unsung heroes of Leeds as Oakwood, Northern Quarter, Rodley and Meanwood and the areas of Leeds to keep an eye out for are Holbeck, Kirkstall and Armley.
We’re going to investigate one of each of these categories of Leeds and see just why property in these areas are just so sort after.
Popular area, Roundhay – home of the famous Roundhay Park, which is comprised of lots of green open space, natural woodland and attractions such as Tropical World. With plenty of renovation work taking place across Roundhay converting some fabulous space into residential space. An ideal place for professionals or families alike. A new pattern imprinted concrete driveway would not look out of place here.
Unsung hero area, Rodley – Close with its neighbour is the suburb Calverley, they can be found some way out of the city centre but however close to Horsforth so shops are on hand. Rodley and Calverley have the beautiful canals and scenery on hand. So, what more can you want for in choosing a place to live in Leeds? Both Calverley and Rodley have a village atmosphere so without doubt a new resin bound driveway would not look fit in with surround cottages.
One to keep an eye on, Kirkstall – Just outside the city centre but with open space to relax in such as the nearby Kirkstall abbey it does offer a suburban feel. A lot of money has been invested into the area attracting shops, pubs and even a retail park. To look out for in the near future will be the brand new Kirkstall Forge Train Station making travel in and out of the area so much easier, along with the extra office spaces being developed. We believe a new gravel driveway would be ideal for these residential properties.
