The perfect way to complement your new driveway
Your new driveway has just freshly been installed, and now you are moving on to what will complement the driveway and outdoor area, new fence perhaps or more flowers to brighten the garden? Here at Buildadrive we take a look at some wooden driveway gates that we feel would complement any new driveway regardless of if you live in Leeds, Wakefield or Huddersfield.
Designs and Sizes
As like driveways coming in a wide choice of surfaces and colours depending on what is required and personal taste, driveway gates also come in selection of shapes and sizes. So, if you are considering an arch top or a flat top, Gunstock or Picket, Spindle or Swan they all offer something different.
Wood choices
What would complete your new Indian Flagstone driveway more than an Oak driveway gate, offering great strength and a wood that is well known for its hardness, an attractive wood type that’s been used for centuries due to how well it looks natural with a clear treatment.
If you have selected a Resin driveway that’s Red in appearance then why not go for an Iroko wooden driveway gate, this is again very strong and very durable that can be laminated to looking appealing on the eye.
Cedar gates would work well with a more traditional tarmac driveway, Cedar is famous for how resistant it is to decay providing a light wood option yet stable and firm.
Providing an overall perfect finish is the Idigbo wooden driveway gates, these would quite simply complement any of our new driveway surfaces. Very similar to Oak but with less knots, splits and twists.
Extras in the design
Why not make you driveway gate as bespoke as your driveway surface with optional extras, these can include adding spindles and glass.
