So, you have sat down and done your research and decided you would like a new block paved driveway, you’re all measured up and ready to go.

But what colour do you go for? You need to make sure you choose the right colours in order for you to like the driveway once it’s been installed.

Firstly consider the practical points of the driveway, it’s important to know when it comes to maintaining your driveway after the installation that some colours will be easier to clean than others. Single colours are more likely to show dirt than that of a mix coloured driveway.

Here at Buildadrive we have a wide range of block driveway colours to choose from regardless of if you are selecting a single colour of a mixture we have them in stock.

Block Paving Colours

You will find block paving colours normally fall into two categories, these are pavers made of one solid colour and those that are a mixture of colours.

You will find our granite selections are a mixture of greys and charcoals, sometimes when laid can almost look purple in colour when laid.

Then you will find some people’s choice is to have a driveway with one solid colour the most popular ones being charcoal, Grey and Red.

What does each colour offer?

Silver, Grey and Charcoal makes a great natural appearance, they are neutral and normally work well with a stone or brick property.

Brindle and Buff offers a more rustic contemporary appearance.

Red and Terracotta is the classic block paving colours – quite often look amazing leading up to a red brick property.

Sandstone is a much paler stone colour offering a more luxurious appearance.
